Material: textile, metal, shell. Size: 20" W. x 22" L. Description: white cotton canvas front with white cotton back - V-neckline - sleeveless - front closure from neckline to waistline with seven white buttons (one missing) and buttonholes - two slash pockets on each side of vest (one upper, one lower) - white cotton adjusting belt with silver buckle and one white button at back waistline - buckle stamped "Pat. July 30, 89" (1889) - "P.W.G." handwritten inside collar.

Context

Man's formal wear. "P.W.G " may have been Paul W. Grenson.
