Land grant to Joseph H. Voorhees and Peter J. Voorhees, minor children of Joseph Voorhees who served in Captain McKissick's Company, New Jersey Militia in the war of 1812. Land is in Vivian Township, Waseca County. Voorhees sold land to Abraham Hees. Signed by Abraham Lincoln 15 September 1864. The land involved in this grant is located in Vivian Township and has been in the August Fennert family since 3 January 1891. Donor, Elmer Fennert, is one of the heirs of the Herman Fennert estate and a grandson of August Fennert.
