Description

Red Wool Waist Jacket. Material: textile and metal. Size: 15" W. x 18" L. x 22" L. sleeves. Description: deep red wool extra small size jacket with black lace neckline yoke, cuffs and sleeve gusseted inserts; high round neckline; bodice gathered to yoke at top and to waistline at bottom; long sleeves; hook and eye closure under one arm and bodice side; light brown cotton lining.

Worn by Caroline Wachtel who was Marvel Patton's grandmother and Pattie Patton's great-grandmother. Caroline was a missionary who came from Germany.
