Contents: 20 black and white photo reprints showing various landmarks, buildings, towns, houses, and businesses and the damage done to them after the German bombings; one sample card shown shows a black-and-white photograph that captures the war-torn aftermath in the town of Péronne, which was entirely destroyed by the Germans before their retreat, evidenced by the demolished buildings with crumbling walls and exposed interiors, debris scattered across the street, and a few people, one near a horse-drawn cart on the left, standing amidst the rubble as they navigate the devastation along the barren, muddy road, emblematic of the ravages of conflict from the Great War.Photograph Details
