Library Special Collection
The Washington Masonic Library & Museum houses a special collection of old and rare texts, such as this gem published in 1798: 'Constitutions of the Ancient and Honorable Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons' by Rev. Thaddeus Mason Harris. Reverend Harris was a prominent Massachusetts Mason, Unitarian minister, and author of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This work is an illuminating look into the world of American Freemasonry in the post-Revolutionary War era.
If you are interested in looking through other works in our Library's special collection, they are all searchable on Catalogit through the Washington Masonic Services website, www.masonscare.org. You are also welcome to view them in person at the Washington Masonic Library & Museum. Please contact chelsea@masonscare.org to set up an appointment!
