Framed Letter: From Henry Price to "Worshipful Brother", dated Boston, New England (Month?) 29, 1770 attempted Transcription: "Sir I wrote to you in December last acknowledging the receiving(?) of your packet date September the Seventh in which came the professings(?) of the Grand Lodge with your favor to me to be recommended to the Grand Lodges hear in favor of the Royal Charter. I have communicated it to our brothers in as many distant lodges as I can according to the scaton(?) of the year where we are buried in with snow. On Friday the twenty sixth infland(?) was our G. Lodge in Boston thare I laid your int(?) before a full Grand Lodge of Brothers after a debate of (?) time it was unanimously voted in infav(?) of a Charter which they apprehended (?) for the society and at which our (?) charity coul dnot be buried on with the Spinds(?) that was first designed in Masonry. Our brothers of the G. Lodge earnestly beg that you would forward a copy(?) of the Indended on completed charter to me as soon as may be. after that if god bless me I intend for London where I will give your Grand Lodge a Stat of Masonry in american. Inthe meanshile I remain to the most worshipful his Grace (?) of Beoufoul(?) G.M. the Grand Lodge and all the well wishes to a Charter that most obedient... (?) and faithfull Brother, Henry Price."
