Descriptions on backs of Postcards: a) "A representation of General George Washington presiding at the alter of his Lodge, whil making arrangements for the ceremonies connected with the laying of the corner stone of the NAtional Capitol at Washington, D.C. on September 18, 1793" b) "This collection of Washington relics is the property of Alexandria Washington Lodge, No. 22, AF&AM and contains Washington's Masonic Apron presented to the lodge in 1812 by Lawrence Lewis, Washington's nephew; his wedding gloves; farm spurs; pocket compass; pruning knife; medicine scales; bleeding implements and many other valuable relics which have been presented to the Lodge from time to time by his relatives." c) "Interior view of the original lodge room of Alexandria Lodge, No. 22 AF&AM of Alexandria, VA, which was located on the site of the present lodge room, and which was destroyed by fire in 1871..." d) "The Altar Lights of Alexandria Washington Lodge, No. 22 were used by the Lodge at the laying of the corner stone of the National Capitol in 1793..." e) "...This picture shows the interior of the Lodge Room as it appears today."
