Atkinsons Brewery Ltd, Aston Park Brewery, 111 Queen's Road, Aston, Birmingham, West Midlands. Founded 1855 as Atkinson Brothers. Registered in March 1898. George Hill (Blakenhall) was taken over in 1919. In 1925, Rogers & Calcutt Ltd of Wolverhampton were acquired. Peter Walker & Co. Ltd of Burton-upon-Trent was acquired in 1925 with about 100 tied houses. They acquired Twist's Brewery Ltd of Walsall in 1950 with 20 public houses. Acquired by Mitchells & Butlers Ltd in 1959 and closed 1962.Category
