Wooden, brass and marble apothecary's table top pill machine or slab, in two parts, with size and number inscriptions. The machine is specifically made to sit on the edge of a square fronted table. The marble is used for preparation. There is also a drawer (at the bottom of the photo) for collecting the pills.Context
