Description

Small black metal hand Railway lamp circa 1900 by Chas . H .Andrews. A small hand held lamp with red lens that has a brass bezel to the front and plain glass to the back . It has a small brass plaque that says Chas . H .Andrews and the address 3 Cross Lane, Eastcheap, London. It has a carrying handle to the top, a clip on the right hand side and a hook on the left hands side, which if pulled up opens the side of the lamp and give access to the wick and fuel reservoir, which cannot be removed. There is a row of air holes beneath the red lens.
