Description

Cromessol hand spray gun, c 1960. This may have been a 'vaporiser' to be used with disinfectant in the home, hospitals or kennels. It is a pump spray - the liquid is poured into the spray before spraying. There is an outside air valve which allows the air to replace the sprayed liquid.

Context

Cromessol was established in 1912 and specialised in sprayers for Domestic of Commercial uses. They also manufactured disinfectants, floral sprays and liquid soaps. They are now a division of the Wallace Cameron group and still produce a wide variety of cleaning and disinfecting products.
