Metal tin containing saddle soap. Made by Brecknell Thurner and Sons Ltd, Great Dunmow, Essex. The soap is of a soft wax formula and gives a matt sheen to the leather

Now manufactured under the name of Carr & Day & Martin (Brecknell) was established in 1765 The journey began with the launch of our enduring Belvoir Tack Conditioner soap in 1800, a formulation that has stood the test of time. The pivotal moment came in 1820 when a grant by Royal Warrant was granted, by King George, an honour that has been retained through the reigns of 8 monarchs in the United Kingdom.
