The Waupun Historical Society will have a booth at the 2002 Waupun Chamber of Commerce Home Show. The Historical Society will he showing a video made from an old film that was taken at the Waupun Middle and High School. The film was taken in the late 1930's and shows the students and teachers in the class rooms. Phy Ed classes, complete with boxing and women's volley ball are shown in the film. Also shown are music classes learning strings back in the days when Waupun had an orchestra. People who have seen the film have recognized many of the teachers and students. Are your parents, grandparents, or great grandparents among them? How were the students different and how are they like our today's students? Be sure and stop by the Historical Society Booth to see this wonderful film. Copies of the tape will be on sale for $8.00.Acquisition
