Scope and Content

"Behind Barbed Wire" Midwest POW's in Nazi Germany, 2 sided postcard. The front of the postcard shows a prisoner and a brief explanation of what will be seen on the traveling BUSeum exhibit. The printed side indicates it's an invitation to the recipiant to see the traveling exhibit. There are fill in the blank spaces for specific times,place and date and a place for the sender to sign. The usual addressee and stamp location are indicated along with the TRACES web site and printer of the postcard information. Despite the richness of this legacy, virtually no one is aware of the role Midwest soldiers played in it. Behind Barbed Wire illustrates this history through narrative texts, multi-media and artifacts. This exhibit is housed in the BUS- eum, an old school bus converted into a traveling museum for all ages. Mailing/invitation side of postcard: Hi, !
