HISTORY OF EMMANUEL REFORMED CHURCH OF WAUPUN The official organization of the Emmanuel Reformed Church was November 29, 1941 with 34 families enrolled as charter members. New Year's morning, 1947, was the first service held in the basement of the new building. On Nov.19, 1947 the dedication program of the new church building was held. At that time there were 90 families, 172 communicants, 130 baptized non-communicants with the total number of 310 souls. The total cost of the church was approximately $100,000.
