Description

WW II US Army Air Corps uniform Jacket only. Worn by Edwin F. Hermann from April 1943 to March 1946. Adorned by 3 patches on Right arm and 3 patches on left arm. Left Shoulder patch is round, blue and has wings, below is a 3 chevron rank patch and on the cuff of sleeve is an Engineering Specialist Patch. On the Left Shoulder is a China, Burma, India USAAC patch, below the first patch is a 3 chevron rank patch and nearer to the cuff is a 2 bar patch. Front of Jacket carries a WW II diamond shape patch with an eagle on it. Over the left front pocket are numerous ribbons awarded to the wearer of this uniform along with a silver wing pin designating US Air Force.
