Tony's Pizza Mr. and Mrs. Jespare Evola, natives of Palmero Sicily, came to Waupun to open a new business called Tony's Pizza. The restaurant is located on Fond du Lac Street near the Rock River bridge. Jespare came to the United States three years ago. He worked in Pekin, Illinois making pizzas. His wife, Antonina, came to this country six months ago with their four children, Catharine, Josephine, Salvatore and Tony. The new restaurant specializes in Italian food: pizza, spaghetti and ravioli. This building has housed restaurants for approximately forty years. Leslie Bell built the original drive in and later remodeled it to be an inside restaurant. The family lived in the house adjoining and they also ran the Standard Service Station located near by and the Quicki Car Wash was added later.
