Tulip Lanes, Incorporated
Tulip Lanes, Inc. held its formal opening, September 16, 1961. Buzz Fazio, a rationally known bowler of the day, was present to put on an exhibition with Harold Radloff, one of Waupuns better bowlers. Radloff had rolled a perfect game last year and last month was bowling with Roy Meenk when Mr. Meenk rolled his 300 game.
The new bowling alley is located at the corner of Fox Lake Road and Brown Street is 145 feet long by 78 feet wide with a black top parking area for one hundred cars.
Upon entering, is a bar and lounge and then there are twelve automatic Brunswick lanes. The view from the lounge to the lanes is unobstructed. It is air-conditioned and a nursery service is available for small children.
The building formerly used to house the Henry Mews Contruction equipment was leased in 1960 and remodeled completely for the bowling alley.Acquisition
