Postcard from WWI era, appears to have been taken at the Waupun Rail Road Depot, of troops preparing to leave for military training. The men standing in front of the U.S. Flag, may be the same men pictured in the postcard accession # 2012.0003.0002. The assumption made of who, when and where is based on RR tracks, building and clothing styles, hats and the man with packages in arm.
The postcard had been in a photo album or scrap book. The adhesive used, left some of the black page stuck to the correspondence side, obscuring the recipient's name or other message.
