The correspondence side indicates "Published by the Photo - Post Card Co., Rockford, ILL.
There is no addressee, however there is a hand written message from Clifford to wife, Mary.
The message reads:
Dear Wife Mary,
Just a few lines to say I am fine and hope this will find you the same. Tell ma to see after it as soon as she can as they are going to ship us out of here in a short time. Don't know just when. Keep this to yourself and don't tell folks. Some of the boys leave here tomorrow for France. Hope ma will be home to see after this. Was on guard last night so am going right to bed tonight. Will write more next time. Got ma's letter today.
