Forest Mound Cemetry Deed for purchase of Lot No. 156 in Block A by Charles Hannisch in the sum of Ten Dollars, dated August 8, 1890.

DEED
This Indenture, made this Eighth day of August, A. D. 1890, between THE TRUSTEES OF THE FOREST MOUND CEMETRY ASSOCIATION, Of the city of Waupun in the County of Fond du Lac and State of Wisconsin, parties of the first part, and (handwritten) Charles Hannisch, party of the second part,
Witnesseth, That the party of the first part in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do sell and quitclaim, unto the party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, Balance of Lot Number 156, Twelve by 5/2 Feet, in Block A in the Forest Mound Cemetery, and five adn one half feet off of South end of lot 158 as in new map - In said city, county and State, to be used for burial purposes only by the family and relatives of said Charles Hannish, his heirs and assigns, which lot or piece of land is delineated and laid out on the map or plan of said Cemetery, in the possession of said Trustees and also filed with the Riegster of Deeds of Fond du Lac County; except that the party of the first part reserve all trees on said lot, To Have an to Hold the Same Subject to all the Statutes of the State of Wiscosnin relating to Cemeteries, and further subject to the conditions, rules and regulations respecting said Cemetery now in force or which may hereafter, from time to time, be enacted by the Trutees of said cemetery. - For conditions, rules and regulations see back of this deed.
In Witness Whereof. The said Trustees, by their President and Treasurer, have hereunto set their hands and seals, this eighth day of August, A.D. 1890.

Be it Remembered, That on this Eighth day of August, A.D. 1890, personally came before me Edwin Hillyer, President, and Elbert W. Jones,Treasurer of the Forest Mound Cemetery Association, to me well known to be the persons who executed the foregoing deed, and acknowledged the execution of the same to be the free act and deed of the said Assocation for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.

CONDITIONS,
RULES AND REGULATIONS
OF
FOREST MOUND CEMETERY
AT
WAUPUN, WISCONSIN,
1. No vehicle or horse will be allowed to pass through the grounds at a rate faster than a walk.
2. Heavily laden teams will not be admitted within the enclosure whenever the grounds are soft or wet, and must at all times keep on the roadway.
3. No horse may be left by the driver on the grounds unfastened or fastened to a tree.
4. All persons are prohibited from taking any flowers, plants, or any ornaments from lots, or breaking any tree, shrub or plant, or writing upon, defacing or injuring any monument, fence or other structure in or belonging to the Cemetery.
5. Trespassers are liable to criminal prosecution and to fine.
6. All structures must have foundations built of solid masonry not less than four feet deep and of sufficient size to support superstructure. All heavy monuments should be set on foundations six feet deep.
7. All trees and shrubbery on the lots are the property of the Cemetery and cannot be removed nor any branches cut there from except by consent of Trustees.
8. In the erection of monuments or other structures a place will be designated for deposit of materials, etc., which shall not remain longer on the ground than is actually necessary for their construction, otherwise they will be removed by the Cemetery Committee at the expense of the owners of same. Workmen so employed must not trespass on adjoining lots.
9. All fences and enclosures of lots are prohibited.
10. If any trees or shrubs situated in any lot shall, in the opinion of the Cemetery Committee, become, by means of their roots or branches, or otherwise, detrimental to the adjacent lots, streets, alleys or walks or prejudicial to the general appearance of the grounds. the Cemetery Committee shall have the right to enter said lot and remove said trees or shrubs or such part thereof as may be considered detrimental.
11. The Trustees will appoint a sexton to open graves and attend to filling same, and whose charges for so doing will be reasonable. Any Lot Owner wishing any other person to do this work must apply to Trustees for a permit. All surplus earth, stones, etc., must be removed immediately after burial.
12. Workmen employed in the Cemetery by Lot Owners and contractors must be subject to the control of the agents of the Cemetery. Any workman failing to conform to their directions will no longer be permitted to work on the grounds.
13. Whenever owners of lots are desirous of selling same they will please notify the officers of Cemetery. All transfers of lots must first have the sanction of the Cemetery Committee. The charge for each transfer, including the recording of same on the books and maps of said Cemetery, will be one dollar.
14. No deed to lots will be delivered until whole amount due is paid.
15. The grade of lots must not be changed except by consent of Trustees, and then by their direction at the expense of owner of lot.
16. It is required that the owner of each lot shall cause the same to be cleaned of leaves and rubbish once each in the Spring and Fall and that the grass shall be cut at least twice each Summer. The failure to do so gives the Trustees the right to have the same done and expense charged to lot.
17. For vaults, tombs and such structures the design muss be submitted to the Cemetery Committee and receive their approval before being erected and the sites for same must also be approved.
18. It shall be the duty of the board of Trustees from time to time to lay out or alter such avenues or walks and make such rules and regulations for the government of the grounds as they may deem requisite and proper to secure and promote the general objects or the institution.
19. The proprietors of lots and their families shall be allowed access to the grounds at all times, observing the rules which are or may be adopted for the regulation of visitors.
20. All rubbish made in opening graves, setting monuments, cleaning lots, etc., by workmen of every kind, must be removed by them immediately to such places of deposit as are provided for same.
21. Children visiting the grounds must he accompanied by their parents or some one having them in charge.
22. Lot Owners are reminded of the fact that lots and monuments will not take care of themselves. They require attention every year. Respect for ourselves and regard for the memory of others requires that they should he kept in neatness and good repair. Owners of lots unable to care for them personally may write the Secretary of the Cemetery, enclosing the amount to be expended, and he will see that the work is properly done.
23. Any person disturbing the quiet and good order of the place by noise or other improper conduct will be compelled instantly to leave the grounds.
24. Visitors are reminded that these grounds are appropriated for the interment of the dead. It is therefore indispensable that there should be a strict observance if all the proprieties due the place.Acquisition
