An inmate of the state prison at Waupun, John J. Watson, 37, was arraigned in district court Friday for the first degree murder in the rape-slaying last Aug. 9, of Wauwatosa housewife Mrs. Edna Mauch. A preliminary hearing was ordered for 2 p.m. June 29.
