Dear Mr. Laird
Thank you for saying I could work at the museum! I bet that if I ask my parents if I could work there they would say yes. I really like history. I know a lot about the U.S. presidents. And a little about Waupun, too. I have some friends in my class that would work there. I know I will have fun when I come.
Your new friend, Weston

Dear Mr. Laird,
Thank you for showing my class mates and me around the museum and telling about the things there. Can I work at the museum sometime? I am 10 years old. Is that how old you have to be to work there or I can clean. My favorite part was the dintest in the celler.
Thank you,
Caiden or Caid

Dear Mr. Laird,
Thank you for letting me explore your museum. I liked the music box the best! I also had downstairs, and your helpers were helpful. I saw a lot of interesting things. The army room was ammo-azing and there were so many metals. The room with soda was cool. I saw the typewriter too! I saw the downstairs office. The upstairs bit was cool too. I liked the music box and the 3D scopes. The museum is amazing. I hope I can come again.
Your Tourist,
Lucas Root

Dear Mr. Laird,
Thank you for letting us come to your Museum. I loved all of the things there, especially the war room and the old photos of Waupun. I have a barn across from my house that was built in 1885. The year is carved into a brick built into the barn. Anyways, I digress. Your assistants were awesome too. Thank them for me. Again, thank you for that you've done!
Sincerely,
Macey Moede

Dear Mr. Laird,
I liked how you keep a museum about Waupun's history, also by the help of your assistants. You know a lot about Waupun's history, like how you told my classmates and me about the statues that Clarence Shaler made, like The End of the Trail and others. There are lot of things to see in that museum. Also you told us that some of the trash we throw goes to the Horicon Marsh. So we should not throw as much trash away. Also if the museum was not there or you who would know so much of Waupun's history? Thank you Mr. Laird!!
Your friend,
Ashley Patino

Dear Mr. Laird and Museum Assistants,
Thank you for using your time to teach me about all the things in the past. They were very interesting. One thing I learned is about a camera call the Polaroid. It was where you take a picture and on the back, the picture that you took comes out. Another thing I learned are some bulbs called flash bulbs. They are used for cameras as well. It is when you click to take a picture, and it flashes from the flash bulb.
Once again, thank you so much for using your time to teach me very interesting things.
Sincerely,
Kadina T.

Dear Mr. Laird and Museum Assistants,
Thank you for taking time to teach us new things. Some other kids in my class and I would like to see the disciples electronic thing working. It shows the Easter Story where Jesus got crucified and he rose again. The organ was cool. Downstairs I liked the kitchen. The old washing machine was awesome! I've seen how they work it at a historical event in Horicon. Thanks again for everything you did for us, and taking time to teach us new things.
Sincerely,
Leah P.

Dear Mr. Laird,
Thank you for having us at the museum. I learned that the old pianos weren't electric. You had to use your foot to power it. I enjoyed the army guns, the weapons, and what gear they had on in wars. I really enjoyed the sea shells and the rocks.
One of the most things I was interested in was the arrow heads. I have a couple at home for decoration.
Sincerely,
Abram Disch
