Happy Birthday everyone. This month the chapter became 90 years old.
We have a chapter to be proud of with many activities and members who are active and very capable and willing helpers or workers.
A small review of events are the consolidation of Brandon Chapter on October 6, 1958 and also Fond du Lac Chapter on Feb. 9, 1990. We have been hosts to other Chapters for a school of instruction, a school for giving proficiency tests, helping the Lodge with their mini clinic and also helping our cities charities and events. Some of our members do a lot of traveling visiting other chapters and these chapters also return the visits to us.
Members have been active in the Grand Chapter activities as well. Celebrities are Norman Peters - a Past Grand Patron, Charlotte Rassmussen and Ruth Thomas who have been Grand Warders, Ruth Thomas who was a District Deputy. The chapter has had a few Grand Representatives too, namely George Cobb who represented North Carolina, Elvira Hanson, Ariz., Joyce Anderson, North Dakota, Florence Williams, Arkansas, Alice Peters, Vermont, Inez Genetski, Kansas, Verna Triemstra, New York and our latest Gaylord Thomas, New Jersey. A number of our Worthy Matrons have also been Grand Pages at various Grand Chapter Sessions. The Thomas's served on the arrangement committee for a Grand Chapter session also. & Ruth Thomas on 2 hospitality committees.
