Photograph of a woman standing in her kitchen. The detail in this photograph is amazing--cookstove, dirty dishes and glassware on the table, oil lamp, slanted tin ceiling, dirty kitchen table, chair, liners on the shelves.... The bottom caption reads "A view of our kitchen." A calendar behind the woman reads "May, 1909." Unknown who this woman is but it was discovered with a collection of other Waupun photographs. Attached is a another photograph of the woman I believe is in the kitchen.
These photos may have come from a Mr. Zane M. Mead from Nashville, Michigan, as evidenced by two letters he wrote to Edna Stopleman on February 24 and March 3, 1975.Acquisition
