Material sent to Jim Laird by Minnie Drummy. This material was sent September 20, 2004. As with all material this should be checked before it is accepted as accurate. Minnie did research, so the material is probably quite accurate. = = = = = = = = = = = The late Edith Moul Scott wrote a booklet for the 1939 Waupun Centennial and it had the wrong list for the War of 1812. I just found the correct list that I red'd for my research which I got from Washington, D. C. William Reifsnider Rev. War Isaac Reifsnider War of 1812 James Reifsnider Civil War Fred Reifsnider National Guard 1890 I also had 3 more grandfathers who served in the Revolutionary War: Obadiah Smith Aaron Hand J. Phillips Isaac Reifsnider is buried in Wilcox Park, but I wrote to the War Records Dept. in Washington and then I sent there. They sent a metal marker for his grave which I could not locate since the stones were removed at Wilcox Park – so I had it installed in a vacant Reifsnider plot in Forest Mound so that he receives a flag every Memorial Day, the same as his son James Reifsnider who is also buried in Forest Mound Cemetery. The last weeks's list was taken from the 1939 book by Edith Moul Scott and it was incorrect. That was the Civil War list and it should have change the name to James Reifsnider, his father Isaac was in the War of 1812. James was in the Civil War. Waupun Veterans of War of 1812. J. W.
