This is a photo of the Waupun's National Guard, which was loaned to us by Delwin M. Boom's wife Joy Boom.
There is another photo from a newspaper clipping that gives all the names to the men in the photo.
These are members of Waupun's Medical company, which is attached to the 426th Infantry battalion of the 32nd division. The medical company has 64 men and five officers and will join the 32nd division for summer field training at Camp Ripley, Minn., from July 7-21.
In the bottom row, from left to right , are PFC Alvin Vande Streek, Sgt. George Loomans, PFC Oliver Peachey, Cpl. David Kohl, PFC Henry Pater, Cpl. Anthony DeGraff, Sgt. Elmer Schouten, Pvt. Donald Smith, Sgt. Raymond Berndt, and PFC William Vis.
