You will notice that the names have numbers in front of them and they go along with the numbers that are printed on the front of the people in this photo. Wilcox from Lena Luck, (1908). It also explains that these Wilcoxes are all children of Seymour and Lucy Newton Wilcox and brothers and sisters of our Grand-father Nelson Newton Wilcox. Also on the back it states the No. 1 in white marking and No. 2 in ink markings explains: is our Grandfather-Nelson Newton Wilcox the sixth child of Seymour and Lucy Newton Wilcox, the founders of Waupun, Wis. Nelson Newton Wilcox was born Feb.22, 1839 at DePere, WI, Brown County. The Wilcox family came to Waupun when he was about a month old. They came March 20, 1839. No. 31 in white markings and No. 55 in ink markings is Nelson's brother Geo. S. Wilcox, the 4th son of Seymour and Lucy Newton Wilcox. Geo. S. Wilcox was born in Canada. His wife is Delia Carrington, daughter of Eli and Mary Carrington marked with ink No. 5 (brother of Nelson, the above Geo.) No. 35 marked in ink is Thurston Wilcox, the oldest son of (oldest child) Seymour and Lucy Newton Wilcox and brother of Nelson. No. 30 marked in ink is wife of Thurston Wilcox, (Clara Beardsley). No. 29 marked in ink is Augeline Wilcox wife of Ira Jason Wilcox. Ira J. was the 1st white male child born in Waupun, the 7th son of Seymour and Lucy (Newton) Wilcox. No. 43 is William Waldo Houghton, the husband of Emily Janet Wilcox, she was the 5th child of Seymour and Lucy (Newton) Wilcox. No. 13 is our Great Grand-father-Jacob Bausch. He was born in Germany in 1826. He is the father of our Grandmother Anne Alice (Bausch) Wilcox. Anne Alice (Bausch) Wilcox was born on April 22, 1859 in Waupun, Wis. She married Nelson Newton Wilcox on Oct. 2, 1879 in Waupun, Wis. Jacob Bausch died 1913 in Waupun, Wis.
