Name/Title
Menu, Restaurant, Wild Goose Inn.Description
Menu from the Wild Goose Inn. This was on an elevation just on the east side of Horicon Marsh on Highway 49. It was a very popular and upscale eating place for many years. It finally changed hands and the new owners had problems making enough money. They set fire to the supper club and it was destroyed. Many years later these people were prosecuted for arson. It was a great place to eat, the food was excellent, and it had windows on the west side of the building overlooking the marsh. Mr. Bell, who owned the supper club in its hayday was a hunter. He went to Africa and got several large wild animals. These were stuffed and were around the dinning room and bar, including Lions. Jack and Ellen Bell operated the supper club in its best times.
