The FBI Law Enforcment Bulletin magazine for October 2008. Police Chief Dale Heeringa sent it to Jim Laird, the police patch for Waupun is on the back cover. Under the photo of the patch it indicates: "The Waupun, Wisconsin, Police Department patch displays "The End of the Trail," a world-renowned statue located in the city's Shaler Park. The sculpture depicts the displacement of Native Americans during the 18th and 19th centuries and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites."Acquisition
