Mr. Walter Riel was a Sergeant with the 38th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron, 13th Air Force from 1942-1946. The Riel Collection is a series of photos that were collected by Mr. Riel during this time. This tent was typical of the tents troop lived in. At first they only had pup tents to live in. As time went on, they were able to add things to the tents. The name of the man in the photo is unknown.Acquisition
