Description

Mr. Walter Riel was a Sergeant with the 38th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron, 13th Air Force from 1942-1946. The Riel Collection is a series of photos that were given to the Waupun Historical Society by Mr. Riel. This photo shows the Japanese surrender delagation to the Halmahara Island.
