Five Graduates Receive Scholarship from the Action Shopper September 2, 2009 WMH auxiliary/gift shop present scholarships to five graduates The Waupun Memorial Hospital gift shop scholarship committee is pleased to announce the 2009 scholarship winners. Each year the WMH auxiliary and gift shop strive to offer several $1,000 scholarships to area high school seniors and continuing education students, who are pursuing a career in the medical health-related fields. One hundred percent of the gift shop profits go towards scholarship. This year, $1,000 has been presented to each of the following five worthy applicants: Ariel Griffis, daughter of Craig and Chris Griffis, of Waupun, and a graduate of Waupun Area High School, has been accepted at Concordia University. She will be pursuing a degree in pharmacy. Janelle Katsma, daughter of David and Mary Katsma, and a graduate of Central Wisconsin Christian High School, will attend Trinity Christian College. She will be pursuing a degree in nursing. Thomas Lechner, son of David and Loretta Lechner, is a St. Mary's Springs graduate. He has been accepted at Marquette University and will be pursuing a degree in physical therapy. Chelsea Redeker, daughter of Mitch and Rose Redeker, is formerly a student of Waupun High School. She is currently a student at Marian University and is working towards a degree in nursing. Seth Wiersema, son of Thomas and Julie Wiersema, is a 2009 Waupun Area High School graduate.
