Scope and Content

Letter from THE NEW ENGLAND COLLECTORS SOCIETY regarding Certificate of Registration for the Limited Edition of the 1/3 size reproduction of the statue End of the Trail. THE • NEW • ENGLAND • COLLECTORS • SOCIETY Dear Collector, We are proud to present you with your serially numbered and registered museum quality reproduction of James Earle Fraser's world renowned sculpture "End of the Trail." Your sculpture is a faithful 1/3 size reproduction of Fraser's original casting. It is created of cold-cast bronze, a modern process using powdered resins and bronze which captures far more detail than the hot-cast method. The casting has been carried out under the supervision of Ms. Christine Roussel, former director of the reproduction department for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Limited Edition Your "End of the Trail" is one of only 9,500 which will ever be cast in this rigorously Limited Edition. Once the Edition has been completed all models and dies will be destroyed forever and no further castings will ever again be made. Certificate of Registration A Certificate of Registration attesting to the authenticity of the work and to its Limited First Edition status will be sent to you after you have satisfied your fourth and final installment payment. The Certificate is personalized indicating your ownership and the serial number of your sculpture. Care and Handling "End of the Trail" is a high quality sculpture which should be handled gently. It should be cleaned occasionally with a soft, damp cloth. I hope that you will enjoy it for many years to come. Sincerely, Robert S.
