Waupun, Wisconsin
Dear Mr. Westra:
Procedures for the administration of the new Wisconsin Registered Landmarks program were adopted at the meeting of the Advisory Committee at Eau Claire in July. The Chairman was authorized to expand the Landmarks Committee to include a representative from each region. He also was authorized to appoint a new permanent research committee composed of a representative from each region experienced in local history research.
The names of the new members of these two subcommittees will be announced at the third annual meeting of the Wisconsin Council for Local History at Madison on October 3. You have already received a copy of the agenda for the annual meeting and you will soon receive a reservation blank along with the Annual Institute for Local History announcement to be mailed from Madison.
I shall look forward to a good representation from this region at the Annual Institute on October 2 and 3 and at the annual meeting of the Council on October 3. A copy of the minutes of the Eau Claire meeting of the Advisory Committee is enclosed.
Sincerely yours,
Mrs. Norbert Secora
Regional Representative
(President, Berlin Historical Society)
