Postcard, Main Street, West End, #4

Name/Title

Postcard, Main Street, West End, #4

Description

Postcard, showing the west end of Main Street. On the right side of the postcard can be seen the mill, a lumber company and the Commercial Hotel property. On the left side of the postcard can be seen several home and business that have been destroyed to make room for National Rivet. Notice the horse and carriage on the middle of the street and waiting on the lest side of the photo. The hotel can be seen beyond the horse and carriage. The top part of the mill on the left has been removed, it is difficult to say if that building still exists. I would also call attention to the mud streets and board sidewalks. The postcard was sent December 30, 1907.
