Sometime back I received several old teachers' contracts from a Mrs. Marie C. Battey of Santa Anna, California. She thought perhaps we had some historical library for such documents

**The contracts enclosed, are handwritten and difficult to read the person's writing and can't make out the spelling of some of the names.

To the voters of Joint School District No. 1, City of Waupun and Towns of Waupun, Alto, Chester and Trenton:
To undersigned, appointed as a committee at the last annual School meeting of this District to examine the books and accounts of the School District Treasurer and Clerk for the year ending June 30, 1915, respectfully report as follows:
We have checked the receipts and disbursements of the Treasurer and find his books and accounts to be correct, showing a balance in the Treasury of $432.73 as stated in his report.
We have examined many of the bills for materal and supplies furnished, and have compared all the orders drawn on the Treasurer by the District Clerk with the stubs in the Clerk's order book and find them to agree and to be correct.
The old orders have been burned.
