Purse, Leather, Corrections, Wisconsin State Prison

Description

Tan leather purse, with hand strap, made by inmates at the Waupun Prison. The initials A L are carved on the front (which could have been an inmate). There is a floral design carved on front and back. The inside of the purse is a dark brown leather. The clasp, to open and close, is oval and gold with a brown swirl inlay.
