This book became the property of School Board member, Mr. Arthur Bossenbroek upon the dissolution of the multiple one room schools that had made up Alto, District #7. Authored by Oliver Adams and published by Adams, Blackmer & Lyon of Chicago. Begins with District SCHOOL RECORD for District No.7, Town of Alto County of Fond du lac and the State of Wisconsin. followed by the page of INTRODUCTION as to the use of this record. The table of contents and Index pages follow. The first written record is of the Annual School Meeting, held on July 5,1892 at the school house and written by John Wellhouse, District Clerk. Pages for the Record of Special School Meetings has only one entry of March 6,1898 composed by John Wellhouse, District Clerk. The Register of School Officers and Term of Office elections or appointments recorded begin in July 1891 thru December 1905. Proceedings of District Board of April 4,1898 by John Wellhouse, District Clerk is the only written document under this heading.
