Jim Dunn Racing is owned and operated by one of NHRA Drag Racing's original pioneers, Hall of Famer Jim Dunn, who celebrated his 60th year in the sport in 2009. Dunn began his career as a competitor in 1950. Since he retired from driving in 1990, Dunn's career has continued to flourish as a respected crew chief, technical adviser, and car owner. In 2001, Dunn was voted No. 27 on NHRA's list of the Top 50 Drivers of its first 50 years, and in 2006, he was given the great honor of induction into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame.
With such an admirable track record, Jim Dunn Racing is supported by many of the most respected names in the industry including Rislone, Bar's Leaks, CANIDAE®, McLeod, Pledge, KYMCO, Tigerflow, Moon, Speed Sport News, and Speedtech. Funny Car Driver PAUL LEE
Paul Lee is a four-time national-event winner in the Funny Car category, winning an event in 2008 in the IHRA Nitro Funny Car class and three times in 2004 in NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car. Lee finished a career-best fourth in points in IHRA Nitro Funny Car in 2008, ninth in the final standings in 2007 and sixth in the class in 2006. The New Jersey native also has three wins in NHRA's Top Alcohol Funny Car class, all coming in 2004 when he finished in the top 10 in the final points standings. As a businessman Lee was formerly CFO of Boninfante Clutches before purchasing McLeod Industries. His resume includes a BBA from the Wharton Business School at the Univ. of Pennsylvania and an MBA and JD from Rutgers University. Lee
currently resides in Southern California.
