THE CAMP CRIER, Franklin, Indiana, Friday, April 9, 1943. Newspaper found in items donated by Lynn Zick who received them from her father-in-law, Wilton A. Zick. Wilton Zick served in the Army during WWII and this was newspaper from that era, and where he must have been stationed for time. Six double sided pages, so 12 pages in all. Pages six and seven - "One Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words"--Chinese Proverb. Pictures of service men and a cartoon with this logo - "The Last Mile is Always The Longest!" Back page has advertisment from SHOLEM'S Military Store, Franklin; Military style shoes and indicates other items The Well-Dressed Soldier would need.
