Description
First Prisoner Built Roadway. This road was the first road built with convict labor and by men on their honor. The roadway was built in 1914 while Rev. Daniel Woodward was warden of the Wisconsin State Prison. This Photo, donated by Harland Jeffers, is mounted onto a cardboard frame-style backerboard, and is part of the Waupun State Prison Exhibit.
