Description

Tree removal on the Heater Place (west end of Village Green), Wayland Center, 1933. The year for this photograph was established by reading from the license plate on the Model A Ford. Note the use of the narrow bladed, two-man handsaw, used by professionals, and the size of the tree circumserence.
