Description

Bed warmer: Brass bed warmer, belonged to Elizabeth Heard Russell: "This warming pan was in the household equipment of my grandmother Betsy Adams, who came from Concord and married my grandfather, Colonel David Heard, on September 25, 1817. And it was in constant use in my grandfather's house on Heard's Island." Nov. 4, 1945, Elizabeth Heard Russell, daughter of Charles, granddaughter of David. Purchased by the Diks when E. H. Russell sold off family belongings at used furniture store at 31 Cochituate Road (George Smith House) in 1940s.
