Note

Weston Art Deco lighters, notably the "Ball of Flint" model, were designed by Alexander Sydney Weston, with patents filed in 1940 and advertisements appearing from 1942 through the early 1950s. Made in the USA, these stylized pocket and table lighters featured distinctive Art Deco, "lipstick," and lantern designs, often sold in GI care packages during World War II.  The lighters are prized for their 1930s/40s, sleek, geometric, "lipstick," or lantern styling, often finished in red, black, or gold.
