Context

Snyder Family, mainly two Snyder Families. First Snyder Family: Catherine Snyder was born in Detroit in 1852. Moved to Wayne in 1882. Mother of 8 children, 4 living, Peter, Anthony (Tony), Joseph, Elizabeth (Lilly). She had 2 grand children Bernadette and Kenneth Whise. Peter and Joseph Snyder opened a dry good store on Monroe St in 1906. Also, Tony Snyder bought a general store form his business partner John C. Stellwagen in 1906.
