26820 Michigan - Inkster Police Department Station. Inkster Police Department in 1930's with Officer standing in front doorway. Possibly Fritz Blossingham, Chief of Police at the time. Building is no longer standing. East of Inskster Road on Michingan Avenue on North Side. 1960's was taken down and a parking lot for frozen food store was built. New Police Station was built Westwood Inn outside pavillion built around 1934. Dances with Jan Garber and Horace Heidt Gene Krupa Bands. Henry Ford appeared there, people dressed up to go out and dance and drinks. Gloria Steele's mother Violet Jacobs worked as a waitress for a short time and waited on Henry Ford.Cataloged By
