Hand drawn cross stitch pattern "The Little Wenham Tea House" with a poem. The poem was written by Mabel Welch (who was the caretaker of the Richard's House according to the accession sheet). The poem reads: In the Little Wenham Tea House just beside the village green/There's the dearest little dining-room that ever has been seen/there are luscious lobster sandwiches to make you pink and fat/At the sign of the Kettle and the Tabby-Cat. At the Little House across-the-Way there's 'most too much to tell/There's a good old Oaken Bucket in the good old Richards well/and [remember it's a secret to be kept beneath your hat]/There are signs in the Kettle at the Tabby-Cat.
