1806 map showing the route from Wenham to the Essex Bridge (Beverly-Salem Bridge) in Beverly. The map is hand-drawn by E. Putnam and shows landmarks like churches and houses. Only a few of the buildings are named - including Wenham Meeting House and the Essex Bridge. The map starts in Wenham at the house of John Gardner - noted as Mr. John Gardner dec'd. Gardner died in 1805 (Wenham Vital Records). On the reverse is the map/plan title and the name Jacob Dodge.
