Scope and Content

David E. and Barbara Clark's 1st scrapbook (out of 31) that recounts the start of the Clark's (with their sons Scott and Mark) decades long involvement with local and national history, bands, and the Wenham community. They lived at 7 Daniels Rd., Wenham, MA and much of their scripted historic reenactments took place there, at the Claflin-Gerrish-Richards House (Wenham Museum) or other historic buildings, schools and parks in Wenham, Beverly and Salem, MA. The scrapbooks include photographs - staged and candid - newspaper articles, scripts and menus, letters, sheet music, as well as memorabilia from various events during Memorial Day and the US Bicentennial 1975-1976 including many parades and festivities.
